We had two amazing shows at Cassel Vineyards this past weekend. The first was the Summer kick-off of our Music in the Vines concert series. Our first show was packed with so many happy, friendly people that it was a success before the band played its first note. When Crossing Abbey Road began their tribute to the Beatles at 6:00 it was just one fantastic song after another. Everyone, was eating, drinking, singing and dancing while enjoying the beautiful weather and balmy weather. It was just amazing to be a part of all the fun that everyone seemed to be having!
Just when we thought it couldn't get any better, Lauren Ferster came out to the vineyard for the first time to play some great country/rock acoustic guitar while JB Kelly provided his amazing seafood shooters for the crowd to enjoy.
Seafood shooters were $2 each and included from left to right; raw oysters with cocktail sauce and lemon, lobster with lemon butter, salmon with horseradish cream sauce, tuna with wasabi soy sauce and crab meat with topsail sauce (delicious custom blend).
Sitting on the deck was so enjoyable when the sun came out and Lauren began singing. Our Sweet Arrow Wine trail concert series continues every Sunday from 4-6:00 PM. Lauren will return every first Sunday. This week, will be Gospel/Blues guitar by Bob Cooney. The music, food and slushies are always delicious here at Cassel Vineyards on the weekend.
